Since its establishment, CRELL has been working on the link between education and training and labour market outcomes. Research activities in this field focused on employability, the role of gender for labour market outcomes, school-to-work transition, returns to education, the role of continuous education and learning in the decision to leave the labour force early. Furthermore, CRELL actively supported DG Education and Culture in the development of a benchmark on the contribution of education and training to employability.
